These terms govern use of ScribeTo's website, account features, media-processing tools, subscriptions, and minute packs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to follow these terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for accurate account information, activity performed through your account, and keeping access to your email and session secure. Notify us promptly if you believe the account has been used without authorization.
2. Rights to submitted content
You may submit only audio, video, live recordings, text, and public links that you own, are authorized to process, or may lawfully use. You remain responsible for copyright, privacy, consent, recording-notice, confidentiality, and source-platform requirements. You give ScribeTo permission to process and store submitted content only as needed to operate and improve the requested service.
3. Automated results
Transcriptions, speaker labels, translations, summaries, and other automated results may contain errors or omissions. Review results before publishing them or relying on them. The service is not a substitute for professional judgment and must not be the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk decisions.
4. Minutes, plans, and measurement
Free, Plus, and Pro subscription minutes are issued monthly and deducted before standalone minute packs, including on yearly-paid plans. Standalone packs remain with the account while it is active unless refunded or otherwise stated at purchase. Usage is measured from processed audio duration, and cumulative usage in each monthly allowance period is rounded up to the nearest minute.
5. Billing, renewal, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically through the displayed payment processor unless canceled before the next billing period starts. You authorize recurring charges for the selected plan. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not by itself refund the current period. Refund eligibility and minute-pack adjustments are described in the ScribeTo Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use ScribeTo to violate law or another person's rights, distribute malicious or exploitative material, evade access controls, probe or disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, resell unauthorized access, or misrepresent automated output as verified fact. We may reject a task, limit access, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change as providers, formats, or technical requirements evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material price or allowance changes will be displayed before they apply to a new purchase or renewal where notice is required.
8. Responsibility and mandatory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ScribeTo is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by unverified automated output, unlawful submitted content, unsupported source changes, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
